From avoided emissions, a climate action tool
Buildings are a major source of CO₂ emissions. Therefore, HD has developed an advanced methodology to measure emissions avoided through energy upgrades. Starting from the calculation of energy savings achieved against a baseline, it is possible to quantify the CO₂ emissions avoided and convert them into carbon credits. These credits, traceable by unique codes in a public registry, can be traded on the international voluntary market. This tool provides an opportunity for companies, governments and organizations to offset their emissions and make a concrete contribution to achieving the global Net Zero targets.

HD International is developing its first projects in Saudi Arabia, Latin America and Indonesia . In the latter country, it is present with HD Indonesia , a company responsible for developing, together with a local partner, energy requalification projects using digital platforms and the HD methodology.
